The competition is a challenge for many young composers and pianists to give the best of themselves, not only on stage but also during the intense preparation that such a thing requires. The latter also applies to their teachers and to their parents! Cantabile’s involvement/commitment does not stop with the competition: recitals and concerts are organized all over Flanders to give the finalists of the piano competition the opportunity to continue to grow. Not only as soloists, because thanks to the project “Kamermuziek Jong Vlaanderen” they can also share the stage with other young musicians.
